The IECA name, and any form of the IECA logo may be used by Professional Members and Associate Members.

Guidelines for Professional Members
Professional members have the right to use the specified IECA logo on print and electronic media.

Professional members may only use one of the four designs as provided by the Association, with a choice of the words, Professional Member or "Member" showing.

Professional members may not modify the IECA logo in any way, except for proportionally accurate sizing. This includes no changes to color or text.

The IECA logo may only be used in black and white if the entire print or electronic media also appears in black and white with no added color.

Professional members may include a listing of their status in a signature block or on print and/or electronic media. Such use is restricted to any of the following formats:
• Professional Member, IECA
• Professional Member, Independent Educational Consultants Association
• IECA Professional Member
• Independent Educational Consultants Association, Professional Member
• Member, IECA
• Member, Independent Educational Consultants Association
• IECA Member
• Independent Educational Consultants Association Member, Jane Smith, IECA

Only individual Professional members may use the IECA logo to reflect membership in the Association. IECA Professional members who are in business, partnership, or in association with non-member independent educational consultants (IECs) may only use the IECA name and logo in close proximity to their own name and not in conjunction with their non-member associates. Associate and Professional members in business, partnership, or in association together may also only use the IECA name and logo in close proximity to their own name. IECA membership is held by individuals, not businesses or organizations.

Non-member IECs, whether affiliated with a member or not, may not imply IECA membership based on placement of any logo.
